The bed and accompanying night stands are extremely low to the ground which makes fixing the bed a bit of a chore. I've developed a fairly quick and painless way to do it, but the first time I put sheets on it I though I made a big mistake buying such a low bed. Now that I've got a good system in place, it's no problem.

The bed is also very large when the adjacent night stands are taken into account so be prepared to put it in a fairly large room. It's a well built bed, heavy and with sturdy construction. The finish is beautiful. Very easy to keep clean. It looks great with either a zen or a very ultra modern sleek decor. I've got a sort of synthesis of the two in my bedroom and it works very well.

I highly recommend this bed, but make sure you have a friend or two come over to help you receive and assemble the bed as it is very heavy. The total shipping weight was over 500Lbs.
