Comments about Magnussen B1712 Meridian Wood Queen Island Bed with Storage Footboard:
My husband and I LOVE this bed. We were a little hesitant buying the bed without ever seeing it in person. We were both very shocked at the quality of the piece. It is solid wood and drawers are put together with dovetail connections- they did not skimp on any details of this bed.
I was also worried about whether or no we could use the bed with a mattress that is made with air baffles and memory foam- each of us can chose the firmness of our side of bed (I'm not allowed to mention the co that makes mattress)- if slats are too far apart of too weak it would not work. This bed has 12 slats and leave an 1.5in gap between each (approx), it worked out perfectly. This bed is constructed very well and built to last. Color is deep and rich.

The quality of the bed,wood and support system were much higher than anticipated. [...] We have a Sleep Number mattress and were initially concerned about whether or not the support system would be sufficient for the Sleep Number mattress- it came with 12 slats that are about an inch apart. It is perfect for our needs.[...]
