I have this table in my dining area. Most of my house is decorated in a modern style, so this table fits right in and looks great. The glass is thick. It is not secured to the legs and the four metal parts glued to it only rest on top of the metal legs. Since it is so heavy it mostly stays put, but if pushed can move around a little on top of the legs.

The space between the legs is a bit narrow, which requires you to find narrow chairs. I went with 16" wide chairs.

Be very careful about what you put on the table as it scratches very easily. Always use placemets when putting plates, etc. I did not realize glass scratches so easily.
