This is a nice looking lamp, and it has good illumination. It's slightly smaller than I thought it was, though. I wanted to use it on an end table in my living room that needs a pretty large piece to balance things out, and this was not quite big enough. I now have it next to my bed...it's a little bigger than your average bedside table lamp, but I like the way it looks there.
