I purchased two of these end tables for my living room, and they are absolutely beautiful. They are the perfect size -- much larger than many of the tables available online. I would prefer not to have the bottom shelf. To me, it's just a dust catcher. But the overall size, appearance, and value of these tables makes the extra effort dusting worthwhile. The tiny drawer is only about an inch high, but it makes a great place to store remotes, drink coasters, etc.
